David Nguyen,
M.D. comes to Arrowhead Orthopaedics from the
University of Pittsburg Medical Center where he has
just completed a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Hand and
Micro Surgery under the supervision of Dr. Andrew Lee
and Dr. Joseph Imbriglia.
Dr. Nguyen began the journey towards his medical career at the University of California Riverside where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, in 1993. He then went on to University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine where he completed his M.D. in 1996.

In search of a rounded education, Dr. Nguyen then moved to Syracuse, NY where he did his first two years of a General Surgery Residency at SUNY, NY, then went on to Knoxville, TN where he completed his five year General Surgery Residency at UTMCK in 2002.
Following his residency in General Surgery, Dr. Nguyen did two fellowships in Plastic Surgery at SUNY Brooklyn, NY, and then at UPMC, Pittsburg, PA. Following that, he enrolled in the Orthopaedics Hand and Micro Surgery Fellowship at UPMC and completed this training in July 2006.
Dr. Nguyen is not a stranger to this community. He and his family are excited about being back in the Inland Empire where he and his wife grew up and where both of their parents still reside.
