RICHARD A. BIAMA, M.D.- General Orthopaedics and Total Joint Replacement
Dr. Biama graduated from Chico State University with a degree in accounting. After a short career as an accountant, Dr. Biama attended the University of California at Berkeley and Davis for his pre-med requirements. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. After completing both an internship and a General Surgery Residency at the Highland Alameda County Hospital in Oakland California, he completed an Orthopedic Surgery residency at Phoenix Orthopedics in Phoenix Arizona.
Dr. Biama comes to Arrowhead Orthopaedics after seventeen years at Beaver Medical Clinic in Redlands, California. He is known for his commitment to quality clinical outcomes. Although he treats most orthopaedic injuries and disorders his specialty is in total joint replacement.
When he is not taking care of his patients he can often be found volunteering his skills at Redlands East Valley High School's athletic department, or with the US Boxing Federation. He and his 16 year old son recently spent their vacation fishing in Alaska, Dr. Biama also enjoys snow skiing.
