¡@ PAUL BURTON , D.O.- Specializing in General Orthopaedics and Total Joint Replacement

Dr. Burton was a physical therapist prior to attending medical school and completing his residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He has served as president of the Pennsylvania Orthopaedics Society, and president of the Indiana County Medical Society. Before joining Arrowhead Orthopaedic Medical Group on September 1, 2003, he was in practice in Western Pennsylvania as an Orthopaedic Surgeon for 12 years.

Dr. Burton enjoys all aspects of general orthopaedic practice, but his particular interest is in total hip and total knee arthroplasty, and has performed over 2,000 total joint replacements. It was Dr. Burton who was the driving force behind Arrowhead Orthopaedics' acquisition of the DXA bone density scanner, and he is committed to improving awareness and treating osteoporosis. He has also taken additional training in minimal incision surgery for hip replacement arthroplasty. In addition to the private practice with Arrowhead Orthopaedics, Dr. Burton also enjoys working with the Orthopaedic Residents at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
