Chronic Pain Management

At Arrowhead Orthopaedics we recognize that for some patients and some injuries chronic pain may linger even after all medical and surgical options have been exhausted. For these patients, persistent pain may diminish their ability to perform daily chores and maintain a sense of normalcy in their lives.

These patients can benefit from the services team of Dr. Jonathan Lee, the trained physiatrist on the team.

Dr. Lee monitors the level of pain and develops a custom pain management plan for each patient. The group is in the process of developing a multi-disciplinary network of providers to address the chronic pain management needs of AO patients.

A physiatrist (fizz ee at' trist) is a physician who treats serious disorders of the musculoskeletal system, in a wide range of age groups. Physiatrist treat people with problems causing acute or chronic pain such as arthritis, back conditions, tendonitis, and work or sports related injuries.

Because Arrowhead Orthopaedics is committed to providing comprehensive care and treatment for all the musculoskeletal needs of our patients, we are pleased to be associated with Dr. Jonathan Lee, the group's own board certified physiatrist.

Dr. Lee specializes in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and helping patients improve their functional status. He is also proactive in treating patients with chronic pain, and is board certified in pain management.

Should you have a persistent chronic pain condition, or should you desire to schedule a pain management evaluation with Dr. Jonathan Lee, please call us at (909) 557-1660.
