Dr. Hopkins received his Medical Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed his orthopaedic residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He then went on to complete a spine fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. He is involved with the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Orthopaedic Trauma Center, where he enjoys working with medical students and residents.

Currently, Dr. Hopkins treats most orthopedic injuries but specializes in degenerative diseases of the spine and deformity correction. He would like to see more pediatric patients for treatment of scoliosis.

​

He enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, mountain biking, running, and other outdoor activities when he is not working. His favorite activity is traveling.
