Hrishikesh Gogineni, M.D.
Dr. Gogineni is a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty. His expertise is in Total Hip Replacement and Total Knee Replacement, and he is highly skilled in Robotic-assisted surgery. Before joining Arrowhead Orthopaedics, Dr. Gogineni completed an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at the University of Florida; following his othopaedic residency at The Ohio State University, he gained experience in all aspects of orthopaedics during his five-year residency.
Dr. Gogineni has lived in multiple countries; he was born in India, where he spent his early childhood years. His family then immigrated to Botswana, a beautiful and peaceful southern African country. He spent his formative years growing up in Botswana and learning about the many things southern Africa had to offer. When he reached 17 years of age, Dr. Gogineni’s family immigrated to the US. He attended the University of Maryland and completed a Bachelors degree in Neurobiology and Physiology. Dr. Gogineni followed his passion for becoming a doctor and was accepted at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH, one of the top medical schools in the country.
Dr. Gogineni has always had a passion for the healing art of Medicine, but he has also enjoyed technology and engineering. As an Orthopaedic Surgeon, he can merge his devotion and give his patients the gift of walking. Dr. Gogineni published in multiple journals, including the prestigious Journal of Arthroplasty.
Dr. Gogineni and his wife, Sheikha, recently welcomed their first child and are looking forward to the journey of parenthood. Dr. Gogineni enjoys hiking with his dog Newton, traveling and learning about different cultures, and tinkering with the latest gadgets in his spare time.
