
Matthew Anderson, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Matt joined Arrowhead Orthopaedics in October 2015 shortly after completing the Masters of Physician Assistant Studies program from Western University of Health Science. He is a native of Lexington, Kentucky and after graduating from high school he joined the U.S. Navy and became a Hospital Corpsman. He has served in the Navy for 16 years and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After being active duty for almost 10 years, he joined the Navy Reserves and started to attend college with the ultimate goal of becoming a PA. While working toward his bachelor’s degree at California Baptist University, he became an American Sign Language interpreter and worked for 2 years interpreting for the Deaf students.
Before attending PA school, he went on a mission trip to Thailand and spent time with his friends reaching out to the Deaf population whom have never heard the gospel of Christ. The most important things in his life are his Faith in God, his beautiful wife, and his 3 children. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with family, friends, and coaching his children in baseball, softball, and basketball. He also loves to get out and compete in triathlons.
