Megan Straw, PA-C
Megan is a native or Redlands having been born and raised here. She attended, California State University, Los Angeles where she graduated in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. While enrolled at CSLA, she joined the collegiate soccer team and was awarded Academic All American.
Early on in her life, Megan knew that her calling would be the allied health professions. With a goal to get into a Physician Assistant training program, she joined Arrowhead Orthopaedics to learn more about orthopedics and to meet the work hours requirement for admission into a PA program. At AO Megan distinguished herself as a caring customer-oriented receptionist then went on to become a successful medical assistant. Megan’s interest in the health professions and her strong experience working with patients at AO proved to be valuable in gaining her admission to the PA program at Loma Linda University.
Megan completed her PA program in 2018 and returned to AO, this time as a qualified board certified Advanced Practice Provider. She enjoys working with most aspects of Orthopaedics, but has a special affinity to sports medicine.
As a sports enthusiast, Megan enjoys recreational soccer, crafting, reading, and spending time with her husband, friends, and their two golden doodle fur-babies.
