Peter Wilton, MD

Dr. Wilton is a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Hand, Upper Extremity, and Microvascular Surgery. He is a graduate of the Joseph H. Boyes Hand Fellowship at USC, the oldest hand-surgery fellowship in the United States. He completed an Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he had the opportunity to work alongside the surgeons and staff of Arrowhead Orthopaedics.

Dr. Wilton understands that surgery is just one of many potential treatment options to alleviate pain and restore function. He believes in a shared-decision making process, helping the patients understand the evidence about the problem and ultimately creating an individualized plan that is best for them.

He is a champion of “Wide Awake” hand surgery, which eliminates the risks associated with general anesthesia, and allows for an open conversation with the patient in real-time.
