Matthew Anderson, PA-C

Matt joined Arrowhead Orthopaedics in October 2015 shortly after completing the Masters of Physician Assistant Studies program from Western University of Health Science. He is a native of Lexington, Kentucky and after graduating from high school he joined the U.S. Navy and became a Hospital Corpsman. He has served in the Navy for 16 years and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After being active duty for almost 10 years, he joined the Navy Reserves and started to attend college with the ultimate goal of becoming a PA.

While working toward his bachelor’s degree at California Baptist University, he became an American Sign Language interpreter and worked for 2 years interpreting for the Deaf students. Before attending PA school, he went on a mission trip to Thailand and spent time with his friends reaching out to the Deaf population whom have never heard the gospel of Christ.
